Tombstalker - Tombstalker [EP] (2011)

The latest release of this american band, very good indeed, with only 4 tracks full of aggression, this time not so  "blackish" but more death influenced, the same thrash tempo. fast and savage, this is more like an evolution of the band if you will, not bad at all.

Stabat - Corpos do Silenco Disforme em Conjuração e Consumação de Tortura (2011)

The fourth demo of this duo band from brazil, if you've listened to the other demos of this band, and you like underground atmospheric black metal, raw, and very hateful, is how i would describe this work, which is not bad at all i would say, in fact, is too short to me, but well, i really recommend this release to those who like this subgenre, like the old releases of Burzum, or Aäkon Këëtrëh....

Band: Stabat

Deafest - Through Wood And Fog (2011)

This year has not ended yet folks, there's a lot of material that will be released and enjoyed, and this is a grateful surprise, this is an EP, and i really liked this, the three full lengths of this band are good, but it seems that the band has matured, this is less underground, but more melancholic and almost reaching the "depressive black metal" label, which is the case of the first track "Fog Rolls Down The Slopes" starting with a calm feeling and the sound of the night, followed by the slow drums, and then a guitar intro towards the outcome of the song, peaceful i would say, then it turns more into that Black Metal riff and feeling, fast and powerful, of course it changes, and then we can listen that depressive riff (in my opinion, this is what i would label as "depressive"), perfect song to give us the first impression of this release, the track lasts 6:22, is an average time for a song and its perfect that way, you'll be satisfied with this, i can assure that, this is what i expected from the band, this is what i was looking for actually, is hard to find good new bands, good releases as well, but when you find it, you feel totally pleased.

Let's move to the 2nd track called "Over The Ridge", and i must say is different, not in a bad way, i liked, all the song is just awesome, seriously, it start with a chill guitar and some drums, then the electric guitar starts with the same riff of the beginning, this is in my opinion the track that marks this EP as "awesome" and almost a masterpiece, although this has 3 tracks, this will not disappoint you, the only thing i didn't like of this EP, is that it only has 3 tracks and isn't more longer, because it should be, but every good thing in the world is short and last only a few moments, does that makes life a piece of shit? maybe.

And then we have the 3rd track, "Rock Spires Above The Trees" is the longest track of the EP, at first it sounds a little bit average and not so surprising, but then you can notice that this changes and becomes more surreal and melancholic, although this is the longest track of the EP, is not as solid as the other two, this is more calm in some parts and with the same riff, doesn't mean that is a bad track, no, it's still enjoyable.

In conclusion i would give this album a 85% for being very good, worth checking out and support the band as well!

Todesstoß - Abwegnis 121 (2010)

This is the definition of surrealism made music, with that touch of neverending suffering and fear, where everything is shapeless, dark, full of real suffering, you can notice that just listening to the first track, this is a germanb band, and they have a lot of material released, active since 2000, madness lurks in every release of this band, that's how i can describe it, schizophrenia, that feeling, you're not alone, your end is near and this is your testament, this actually reminds me the feeling i have while listening to Blut Aus Nord, musically i just can say that this band has a very particular and original way to do this art, underground produiction but without being fuzzy and annoying, and that's just more atractive to the listener, the vocalist of the band is also an actor, isn't common in this genre but is quite curious, later i'll post more of this band.

Band: Todesstoß

TotensTandarT - Tot Mit Uns [DEMO] (2011)

Norwegian underground black metal, very good, i'm glad to know that a lot of undrground projects are being more original, is time for a evolution towards perfection, beyond human! this band keeps a very palpable industrial (and kinda depressive) influence, it deserves your attention, very recommended...

Goatmoon - Finnish Steel Storm (2007)

Second full-length of this awesome band, and this is not dissapointing at all i must say, it has a pagan metal influence in some songs, this is bettre produced but still having the harsh guitars and that stuff that is very common in black metal, if you liked "death before dishonour" you'll like this, a lot.

Band: Goatmoon
Disc: Finnish Steel Storm
Year: 2007
Country: Finland
Genre: Black Metal

Goatmoon - Death Before Dishonour (2004)

Awesome band from the cold lands of finland, this is one of the best bands in finnish scene and one of the best in general, i'm almost 100% sure that this guy is NS, and maybe skinhead, but who cares, he is a very good musician, and this, despite being a very raw release, worth it!, you'll be satisfied if you're searching raw cold black shit, and good riffs, this is your band! if you liked it, you must buy it.

Paysage D'hiver - Einsamkeit (2007)

This is a real dark and depressive ambient actually, is like vinterriket but more raw, and more black metal influenced (im not saying that vinterriket is bad, never!) in my personal opinion nothing is more complete and destructive than this sub genre of black metal, and dark ambient, to me, there's nothing in music (and believe me, i listen almost all kinds of music, not just black metal, that's stupid.) that beats this kind of art (and classical music, obviously) but there's nothing like this, is pure depression, made for a few people who really understand it, is magic.

Band: Paysage D'hiver
Disc: Einsamkeit (a demo, obviously)
Year: 2007
Country: Switzerland
Genre: Black Metal/Dark Ambient

Disiplin - Anti-Life (2005)

It's amazing how this band has changed, from Satanism and Gnosis to War and pure hatred, and i think this band also belongs to the PF. Amazing, and also the band has changed musically speaking, froma raw and well produced black metal (which is amazing!) to an industrial/martial black metal that lead you to chaos and eternal destructive war! (which also is fucking awesome), but this is a very good release, must be listened and purchased!

Band: Disiplin
Disc: Anti-Life
Year: 2005
Country: Norway
Genre: Black Metal

Drowning The Light - Of Celtic Blood & Satanic Pride (2007)

To me, this band looks too much like SW and that vampiric licanthropic shit, i'm not going to criticize the titles and the lyrics and that stuff, lets just say that is a bad production, trying to do something trve and vnder, sounds pretty bad, and i personally don't like that "satanic pride" and stuff... But well, if you like it you buy it bitches!

Band: Drowning The Light
Disc: Of Celtic Blood & Satanic Pride
Year: 2007
Country: Australia
Genre: Black Metal

Beastcraft - Baptised In Blood And Goatsemen (2007)

Second Full length of this norwegian black metal band, i must say that i can't stop listen to this particular release, is just very good, and when i get more money sure i will buy it without doubt, and i recommend this to you if you like bands like Urgehal, Krypt, Nattefrost and that stuff... Satanik Norwegian Black Metal!!!

Disc: Baptised In Blood And Goatsemen

Haemoth - Satanik Terrorism (2001)

Just like the other releases, but adding better riffs to the tracks, i think this is the best full length of the band.

Band: Haemoth
Disc: Satanik Terrorism
Year: 2001
Country: France
Genre: Black Metal

Haemoth - Vice, Suffering And Destruction (2004)

Haemoth is nothing but true destruction and hatred, very agressive and misanthropic raw black metal, nothing else, loud as hell, extreme black metal without doubt, although i'm not a bug fan of raw black metal and that sutff (i'll always prefer ambient, dark ambient, depressive and stuff) but this is great actually, as i said this is very raw and loud black metal, so if you like symphonic or melodic black metal, or just you're not a fan of rawness, then don't bother in download this.

Band: Haemoth
Disc: Vice, Suffering And Destruction
Year: 2004
Country: France
Genre: Black Metal
